Check your dog’s wheelchair fit

No account. No email. Take or choose two clear photos and use the simple checks below.

✓ Side photo   ✓ Rear photo   ✓ Nothing is uploaded or saved

1. Take two clear photos

Have your dog standing naturally in the wheelchair on level ground. Try to show the whole dog and the whole wheelchair.

📷 Side view

Show the dog, front legs, rear support, frame and wheels.

📷 Rear view

Show both wheels, the dog centred in the frame and the rear supports.

Photos stay on this device. They are only shown here for you to check.

2. Look at the whole fit

3. Stop if something looks wrong

Do not keep walking to “see if it settles” if the chair is rubbing, tipping, pulling strongly to one side, damaging paws or skin, or your dog looks painful or distressed.

For a new medical problem, sudden weakness, collapse, significant pain, bleeding, swelling or breathing difficulty, contact your vet rather than trying to solve it by changing the wheelchair.

4. Need help with what you can see?

Tell the Mobility Guide exactly what looks wrong — for example “the wheels lean in”, “one paw drags”, “the side bars are by his head”, or “she keeps sliding out”. Include the wheelchair make if you know it.
